Now we're an independent, British-owned company making world-class beer in the heart of Bavaria. Our beers have won over 26 major industry awards for taste and quality including ‘World’s Best Lager’ at the last IWSC Beer Awards, Gold at the European Beer Challenge for the past four years and a coveted three stars from the Great Taste Awards for our Weisse beer.

Our signature Helles lager is made by a fourth-generation family brewery in the heart of Bavaria and is brewed colder and longer than other beers. Handcrafted and authentic, we only ever brew in keeping with the German Reinheitsgebot beer purity brewing law meaning our Helles can only use three local ingredients - pure mineral water, locally grown barley and Hallertau hops.

Also in the Hofmeister range is Hofmeister Weisse, an authentic 5.1% Bavarian wheat beer made with mineral water, locally sourced barley, wheat and Hallertau Hops. With a thick and velvety pour, Hofmeister Weisse is deliciously refreshing.

For those after something lighter, our 0.5% Hofmeister Ultra Low Helles is the perfect choice. A classic Helles taste, it has lots of sweet grain, fresh grassy hops and bready notes as well as plenty of body and a good crisp finish - so refreshing and drinkable.
